Step 1 Disembarkation Forms ( Sample ) |

Flight attendants will distribute Disembarkation and Customs Declaration forms on board the flight, complete the forms before reporting to passport control and baggage inspection. If you missed it on the flight, you could also obtain the forms at arrival passport control counters after you disembark from the flight.
The forms should be filled in English, Chinese is acceptable as well. You don't need to fill in Custom Declaration form if you have nothing to declare. |

Step 2 Passport Control |
| |
Queue at the foreign passport clearance counter and present your Passport, Visa, departing flight ticket, Customs Declaration Form and Disembarkation Form to the arrival passport control officer for clearance. |

Step 3 Baggage Claim |
| |
Proceed to the Baggage and Customs Hall, check for the baggages reclaim carousel number which corresponds with your flight number listed on the electrical board and head to the allocated carousel to retrieve your baggage. |

Step 4 Baggage Inspection |
| |
If the items in your baggage are not dutiable, proceed to the 'Nothing to Declare' counters, indicated by the color green. If you are bringing dutiable goods into Taiwan, proceed to the 'Goods to Declare' counters, indicated by the color red. |

Step 5 Transportation to the City |
| |
Decide on your form of transportation to the city, eg: taking a bus, then follow directions to the ticket offices for ticket purchase before boarding. |

Departure |

Step 1 Check In |
| |
Be sure to arrive at the Airport at least two hours before the flight's scheduled departure time, present your ticket and passport at the check-in counters to receive your seat assignment and boarding pass. |

Step 2 Baggage Check-in |
| |
Weight your check-in baggage on the counter meter, it is advised to have your baggage striped to a contact tag listing your name, contact number and address in case of future loss. |

Step 3 Passport Control |
| |
After checking-in, head to departure passport control and present your passport, boarding pass and embarkation form to the passport control officer for clearance. |

Step 4 Passenger Clearance |
| |
Place any metal and electronic and transparent sealed bag of liquid items from your baggage in the basket for inspection. Each container of liquids, aerosols or gels in your carry-on baggage must be 100 milliliters/grams or less. |

Step 5 Boarding |
| |
Please report to your boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure. |

1. Cigars—25 pieces, or cigarillos–200 pieces or tobacco—1 pound; alcohol—1 liter (no limitation on the number of bottles) for each adult passenger of private use.
2. Used or non-import controlled/prohibited baggage articles. The price duty paid of single piece or one set is less than NT$10,000.
3. Personal belongings other than the above two items with price duty paid less than NT$20,000.
4. Advertising items, samples without commercial values or the items of price duty paid under NT$12,000. |

Tax Refund |

1. The Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) enables you to claim a tax refund on goods purchased over NT$3000 in the one store and no more than 30 days before departure.
2. To claim a refund you must:
(1) Inform store personnel for a tax invoice at check out.
(2) Wear or carry the goods on board.
(3) Present the goods along with your tax invoice, passport and boarding pass to a TRS facility. |
